Before and after the performance, is where you are like whoa. He was a little nervous about what Simon was going to say because people listen to what he says. He was most nervous on Idol during top 12 week when he forgot the words. The words were there, they just didn’t come out. But after that was over, he was like oh whatever, it happened, just go with it.
He was bummed that he couldn’t watch the Super Bowl. He usually watches the Super Bowl. He is saying ‘wow’ a lot.
They are talking about lip syncing. David thinks Jennifer Hudson would sound just as good live. He is singing the Pro Bowl National Anthem live. A Capella.
David said the DJ is looking pretty buff. He said “you can kill me”– oh my gosh. Love him.
They are playing karaoke. Either the National Anthem, American Idol artists, or any song they want. David doesn’t know what he wants to play. He said ‘whatever’ and wants to save the National Anthem for Sunday. Okay, David has spoken. He wants the free for all.
They can’t hear themselves singing. They will put the headphones on and blare the music, so it will drown themselves out. But the listening audience will only be hearing them sing without music. David said that is scary.
David doesn’t wanna picture everyone in the audience naked.
David is singing I’m Yours. He is soooo nervous! He said his heart is pounding and he hopes Jason never hears it.
He said he almost had a heart attack when he was 10-years-old because he was so nervoussss. He still hopes Jason never hears his song. He is crazy. He loves Billy Joel and Eva Cassidy and Jason Mraz and Stevie Wonder.
They are replaying David singing I’m Yours. And he FREAKED. He put his hands over his ears and started going ‘blah blah blah blah’ and spazzed out.
