This is the video taken by Pam who met David at the Meet and Greet in Cleveland, Ohio on April 16, 2009.
This is Pam’s story of her meeting:
When I meet David at the M & G I could tell he was sleepy and not feeling well, he woke up with a bad cold that day and had just returned from his trip to Malaysia. I tried to make my conversation brief because time was limited, there were 25 people at this M & G and we had to pay $250.00 to see him. One of the ladies asked me where I got the photos from and mentioned they were for teamarchie so we can make money for his music, and David’s reply was Oh! OK and then he signed them and smiled. His signature reads “D. Archulet” I don’t see an “a” there. It is his typical signature. I wanted to say alot more but this lady was rushing us through the line, and I was so darn nervous talking to him, it was hard for me to get the words out. ha,ha.

Everyone deserves to be happy in love—even the super famous! That’s why we’re doing our part to find a new boyfriend for the lovely Miss Gomez. This is almost like community service!
DANA: Yes, Joslyn and I am marking these hours down as us being Clevver Do-Good-ers. In all seriousness, I feel we can help Selena get back out here and find Mr. Right pronto. So here we go. My pick was pretty popular just a year or so ago. I mean, he was the talk of the town – exactly how Selena is a hottie in the biz right now! Remember a little show called ‘American Idol’? Well, David Archuleta is my match for Gomez. This guy made it down to the final-2 for the reality show – and we can say there was a definite rivalry created by the media for him – so not only can he handle some gossip and competition but it’s just how Selena is constantly being compared to the rest of Young Hollywood. David is about 2 years older than Selena – yay, which means they’ll be more on the same maturity level. Next, can we talk about both of the singers’ family backgrounds? Both of them have a little flavor to them. Gomez has an Italian and Mexican heritage while Archuleta has some Latin influences. Maybe he can serenade Selena with a nice song and dance… And David has made guest appearances on Nickelodeon and Disney tv shows – so it’s just by chance that these two haven’t already hooked up.
