Seeing David up close is an experience I wouldn’t trade for the world. I can’t really do it justice, but I’ll try. We could see every change of expression and every sweat drop. Just to be able to really see the transformation that comes over David right before he starts to sing ‘Don’t Let Go’. He really does go to another place when he sings that song. And when he paused during ‘Apologize’, closed his eyes, inhaled…exhaled…and then gave it everything he had, WOW. It gave us chills. He sang part of ‘Crush’ to the young girl sitting to the left of us, and I think she is probably still in a state of shock! And of course, Emily was so much fun! For a short time that night, Penny and I were teenagers again!
