Thank you, John on Archuleta Avenue, for this great post:
September 11, 2001 is a date none of us will ever forget. Our world changed forever that Tuesday and I’m sure none of us will ever forget where we were or what we were doing at that moment.
Whatever your plans are today, take a moment to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, as well as the brave men and women who risked their own lives to rescue those in need, that day in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington DC.
David singing “God Bless America” at a Memorial Service for Fire Station 54 in Manhattanin NYC on 9/11/02:
Hard to believe he was sick during this performance:

Kendra Lowe just finished her third tour with David Archuleta, playing keyboard and violin. After performing with Archuleta in Alaska two weeks ago, she has now performed in all 50 states.
Lowe loved touring because she was able to meet so many wonderful people, and give back to the audience through music. Although touring isn’t her cup of tea, Lowe said, “The rewards have been so unexpectedly humbling and edifying with David.”
“David has taught me more than I can say. He has a beautiful light around him. He is so pure and so good,” Lowe said. “He has made me want to become a better person by watching his example.”
“The biggest thing I learned being on tour was how much Heavenly Father loves his children. David and I went to every temple we could in every city we performed in that had a temple. It made the biggest difference for us. I can’t explain it in words. Just knowing that we have been given so much and are not alone made every day worth living — especially the tough ones.”
Lowe said she feels the love of God every time she’s allowed to share her gifts.
“He has given me all that I have, so I want to give back,” Lowe said. “That’s enough for me to keep going.”
Touring with Archuleta wasn’t a completely new experience for Lowe — she has toured all over the U.S. for years with her family.
Hi all. That is the Happy Budda ring that I gave to David during SJ VIP in July. It is a gold plated ring with CZ. It is not real expensive but it is not a dollar store ring. I found it when searching for some fashion jewelry on eBay. The big smile from the Happy Buddha is like the happy smile from David; they both brought me joy, calm and positivism. Happy, Smiling, Fat or Laughing Buddha is a symbol of happiness, hope and prosperity for Asian. Happy Buddha can help people relax and concentrate on work/study. When I saw the ring, I think of David and had to get it for him along with a golden pig also with CZ.
