David Archuleta singing Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas in Waukegan, IL on 12/11/09. He did this as a duet with his aunt who happened to be in town and it sounded fabulous!

David Archuleta’s “ X-mas from the Heart”, the album for your holiday season. His beautiful, crafted voice has been commented on being ideal for these selected songs. The beautiful music accompanying David is what makes them stand out. A compilation of Classic styles is what’s being used. Such styles remind you of the 1960’s group Moody Blues or the great musical Evita. The song that shows how special this album really is comes w/hearing What Child Is This. Towards the end, it includes guitar playing w/an awesome Hispanic sound. Next, Riu Riu Chiu & Ave Maria, where David’s Latino background is most appreciated. Other songs you’ll truly enjoy are Joy to the World, O Come All Ye Faithful & Pat-a-pan (it begins in French, concludes in English). Overall, the perfect selection was made. Also, a lot of hard work went into this album. Just singing the songs are actually harder to do which caused concerns of straining his voice (the major setback of his past). Even in the written section where he thanked everyone, he did a very nice job clarifying that he wanted to reach people of all backgrounds: religious & spiritual beliefs, all ages, languages and so on, w/these x-mas songs. He definitely captured the “message and spirit” that we all will love. “X-mas from the Heart” will give David Archuleta the recognition he finally deserves!

OMGGGGGG, David now officially knows about us, Vietnamese Archies. He already knew about us when he read the letters I brought to him when I got to see him in Malaysia, but this is official. Woo hoo!!!

On to Cleveland VIP! He was, again, in a very silly mood. I think he told someone that he was just “high on life”. He was so full of energy! Anyway, it was my turn to see him. I walked up to him and handed him the collage. I said’ “This is from the Vietnamese Archies, and they would like a picture of you with this collage”. I continued, “They had a Christmas party with your CD and they sang Joy To The World”. He was looking at the collage and proceeded to sing “Joy to the world”. I was mesmerized! He sang to you guys! I only wish I had it on video! They don’t allow anyone to take pics of vids in VIP. Sorry! I told him I had a bag for him with pictures and a letter and that in your letter is a link to your Joy To The World video. He said “awe, thanks”. As I was walking away, I said “do you remember me from Waukegan VIP with the ugly sweater?” He said, “Oh yeah”. Being silly, I then said, “Do you like the sweater I have on now, better than the ugly one I had on last night?” He said, “They are both nice”. Hahahahaha! He always knows the right things to say!Well, that’s the story of the picture. I hope you enjoyed it! Oh yeah, by the way, I made two copies of your David pic and a copy of your collage and put those in a bag for him to sign and return to your friend. Soooooooooo, hopefully, if all goes as planned, your friend in the states should be receiving 3 autographed pictures of David! I hope you don’t mind that I did that. I thought you might like more than just one.Hope this made your day!
