Interesting facts:

  • On the finals of the 2nd Season of Star Search, David scored a perfect 20 points from all three judges.
  • The actual date David won Star Search was March 19, 2003.
  • By winning the Junior Singers competition on Star Search, David won $100,000.00
  • As soon as the Archuleta Family returned to Utah, 10% or $10,000.00 was tithed to their church.
  • When David started on Star Search, he already started showing symptoms of bronchitis, which would later lead to his vocal paralysis when he reached the age of 13 and 14. One of his vocal chords was paralyzed and underdeveloped. The doctors said he can have surgery, but it was very risky. He didn’t want to take the risk because he wanted to sing. He was actually supposed to record a CD after Star Search because of his big success there, but wasn’t able to due to his vocal paralysis.

David vloged from the studio of Eman Kiriakou, where they recorded  a song together today.

Just recorded a good song at Eman’s. Meet his little toy Toro. Had a great week in Nashville!

And by the way, there are NOT any cheerleaders or any volleyball players here.

He says he finished recording a good song written by @EmanuelKiriakou , @ClaudeKelly , and @JessCatesMusic.

Watch out for Toro, the toy bull, who attacks his computer, lol

David says he had a great week, last week, in Nashville, writing lots of music. He also got to spend a couple of days in Utah with his family.

David said that he apologized for his nasty appearance and weird laugh!!!hahaha lol

Regarding the cheerleader thing, David has to explain: “And by the way, there are NOT any cheerleaders or any volleyball players here.” coz Eman teases him about this:
