David Archuleta is giving fans a chance to call in to hear a sample of his new single, Something ‘Bout Love. On Thursday afternoon, he tweeted: “I am previewing my brand NEW single right NOW at 801-386-8196! Call in to hear it first! Let me know what you guys think! Thanks!”

It’s a mid-tempo tune with a steady dance beat (think a kinder, gentler My Life Would Suck Without You) and Owl City-like synthesizers, plus a catchy whoa-oh-oh-oh line in the chorus that should have fans singing right along.

In the minute long snippet, David sings about the ups and downs of being in love. “There’s something ’bout love that breaks your heart/Whoa-oh-oh-oh/That sets you free,” Archie sings on what it sure to be a painfully addictive chorus.
