It is hard to believe that it has been two years since David Archuleta was the runner up on American Idol, losing out to David Cook.
Once Archuleta was done with his American Idol responsibilities, he released a hit single, a Christmas Album, and now he is a best selling author. His book titled “Chords of Strength: A Memoir of Soul, Song and the Power of Perseverance” is on the The New York Times Best Seller list. The book is about the difficult road to fame. To write an autobiography at the young age of 19 must be extremely tough, and many must wonder why Archuleta has written a book about his life at such a young age.
