Had an amazing time in India at Rising Star Outreach! Very humbling to go there and even though it was a short trip it was a life changing experience. Just makes you appreciate things more and gives you a different perspective of things. Sorry for the rambling babbling and still not really getting to everything I wanted to explain, but hopefully we can get a Q&A sometime soon!

David Archuleta vlogs about his recent week-long trip to India in his latest video blog.

David spent the week visiting leper colonies and working with Rising Star Outreach. “It’s an organization that works with people who are suffering from leprosy in India, who have been outcast and shunned from their communities because they’re believed to be filthy and unclean people,” David says.

David mentions meeting one girl who was put in the trash and rescued by her grandmother. “Seeing their faces, knowing their names, hearing their stories of where they’ve come, I’m just amazed,” he says. (Via USA Today)
