David Archuleta chính thức bắt đầu phục vụ truyền giáo toàn thời gian (2 năm) tại Trung tâm huấn luyện truyền giáo (Missionary Training Center, viết tắt là MTC) ở Provo, bang Utah, ngày thứ 4, 28-3-2012. Từ nay, David sẽ được gọi là Anh Cả Archuleta (Elder Archuleta).
