This is David when he was a sophomore!
These are some fun things David has told us about himself in certain grades. Let’s start with 8th grade.
8th grade: David said he was a “Hermit” in 8th grade. “I wasn’t sociable. I didn’t like talking to people” – David Archuleta
9th grade: “In ninth grade, I wrote like three songs. And then I never wrote since then. Like then I was brain dead.” – David Archuleta
10th grade: “When I was in school, I had a 4.0, until auditions came, then it wasn’t the same story.” – David Archuleta (During his sophomore year at Murray high school)
11th grade: “The last semester I had one B in college Spanish and the rest were A’s, so that was good. I was in 11th grade when it was my last semester at Murray high school.” – David Archuleta
12th grade: “I didn’t think I’d ever get another chance to go to a school dance, but I asked management and they gave the ok and made time in the schedule for me to go. I had soooo much fun! For our day activity, we had breakfast and then played games. We fit in a lot of them too. We played dodge ball, basketball, musical chairs, apples to apples, and crab soccer. I got a good work out from the crab soccer too haha. We rocked out at the dance too, and even though I sweat so bad it was worth it.” (At his Senior Ball)
On Wanting to go to College: “I do. I’d love to still see what catches my eye. You know, music is something that I don’t think I’ll ever want to give up. But I’d like to see if there are any other occupations I’d find interesting.” – David Archuleta.
