David is so epically sweet!

Two weeks ago I went to David’s concerts and VIPs in Nashville and St. Louis, and they were absolutely amazing. At the St. Louis VIP I left him a letter where I told him about how I collect hearts, and I asked if he could draw one and send it to me.  But of course I went and forgot the envelope in the car that I was going to put my address on so it would be easier for him to send it. So I had to add another page to the letter telling him I forgot my envelope and that it would be totally ok if he couldn’t write me back because I knew it would  make it more difficult and in no way did I want to make him go out of his way or anything.

But David being the amazing person he is *did* go out of his way and got a postcard to send to me. I totally didn’t expect it at all since all I did was leave him my address and no envelope or anything. And he drew me two hearts!!!

He didn’t sign it because that might not have been a good idea on a postcard but it didn’t matter because I definitely knew who it was from. For thing I know his handwriting, and also who else would randomly send me drawings of hearts? The “sorry I can’t draw hearts lol” was also kind of a giveaway, since it’s definitely a David thing to say :) And it cracks me up how he put the number “4″ and a question mark because of what it says right below it, like that part kind of confused him haha.

But this just shows how much David cares about his fans and how he will do anything to make them feel special. He has amazed me so many times and this is another example of it. He truly is one of the sweetest people in the world!

David wrote letters to the charity, Heartfire Foundation. He also wrote a sweet letter to the Tibetan kids who live in Qinghai China.

From Gengen who is working for the Heartfire:

When I met David in Kansas City, I gave David a brief introduction of what Heartfire Foundation does in Qinghai Province China, and asked him to do a shout-out to Heartfire. Several days ago, I received not only his blessings to Heartfire but also a sweet note he wrote to the kids in Qinghai. I am speechless now. I have no words to describe how touched I am. Currently I am writing this email on Tibetan Plateau, 12000 feet above sea level. Just went back from a day’s work of delivering scholarships to 26 kids from three schools. Tomorrow, we will go to another town to film an original Tibetan dance performed by one school kids. All the hardship of trying to survive on the plateau, of fighting altitude sickness evaporates when I read David’s letters. He is truly an inspiration, a god-send, an angel.

Just want to share this most inspiring experience I have from David with you all.”

Hi All!
It´s with a HUUGGEEEE happiness that i send this email for you! We received David´s letter too! Uhhuuu.. I´m so Happy! He send a labed CD with a portuguese message :) and answer some Q&A question for us. Unfortunately he didn´t answer all questions but WE LOOOVVVEEE! And of course we want to share this with you guys!

Hi Archies,

I’m so happy to inform you all that David Archuleta Vietnam has a new dedicated author- davidforever18. Her real name is Huong, a student at Hanoi University. She is such a nice girl, a loyal fan of David and willingly/ happily/ proudly to be an author of DAVN.

As you can see, Huong has posted some articles on this site as well as on huong4david.wordpress.com which is a part of DAVN for a while, and I must say that she is so good at learning how to post.

Thank you so much, Huong, for offering to give me a hand and promising to stand by me all the way of supporting David Archuleta.

Because of her dedication and her love for David, I’m giving her the debut CD of David which is gifted by Joyi.

Dear David, my only and forever idol,
The first thing which is always-on-my-mind is to say thank you.Thank you so much for everything you have done for us and for me.
Thank you for your appearance in my life.
You know, music seems to be a part of our life. Even someone can’t live without music. And I am one of them. I like music. I’m not so sure about what kind of music I actually like. I just listen to songs that attract me. If I say I have never admired anybody, it’s a lie, haha. In my life, I’ve admired a lot of people because of their talent, or their kindness.
