prodigalfan asks Kari if the new album Begin will feature some songs which David did a cover before. Will Fields of Gold’ be included?

To this question, Kari replies: sorry but that song will not be on BEGIN. There’re a couple songs that some might have heard him sing but some new covers also. No Spanish songs on BEGIN.

Also, “no” to Heaven, Dream Sky High, Waiting On The World to Change, Gotta get Though This, Man In The Mirror, The Riddle, Hey Soul Sister, I’ll Be, You Gotta Be, God Bless the Broken Road, Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Bubbly.

So far, the only song that we know that David recorded that song with Kurt is Bridge Over Troubled Water, and I assume/believe it will make it to BEGIN.

January 26, 2012 | Nandito Ako Shooting

A day I will always remember. I was surprised when my mom texted me saying that there was a shooting at our village and it was TV5, she assumed it was David Archuleta, she said in her text “Umuwi ka na, may shooting si Archupeta dito sa filinvest” No questions asked I immediately went home and indeed the odds were in my favor, I saw the van with his name. Seeing this, I waited for him,and certainly as his song goes, good thing really come to those who wait. I saw him as he was getting out of the van. i almost cried, yes, I am not embarrassed to say that that is how much a fangirl i am. I just stared at him for hours and an opportunity presented itself, he was walking my way, this gave me the chance to talk to him, just a short conversation. That quick encounter made me the happiest girl in the world. January 26, 2012 a day I will never ever forget.
