After the general press conference, a very special session was held, involving fans who participated in the online TV5 interviews plus the movers of Team Airport and international bloggers. This impromptu forum was made on the specific request of David Archuleta, who was once again overwhelmed with the show of support of his Archies. The session was short and sweet but a might nice touch.

New info: David talked to Michael Jackson, and even sang a little bit for him. David is working on a MJ song to sing on tour!!
I was told to concentrate on the Asian edition album. I got around to talking about LOVE DON’T HATE. But I didn’t get to ask him about the unbelievable high notes of EVERYTHING AND MORE; or about the blind person who doesn’t seem to know he exists and he longs for her to NOTICE him; (to point me in her direction so I can smack her, jk); and then I was going to ask him to sing WAIT! Instead, I asked a redundant question about producing!?duh?
I try to get back on track by asking him about the mash up songs.When he asks me if I like Got to Get thru This , I think I stopped breathing for a second, oh man, he is turning the tables on me…he is asking me a question? Whut? Did he see that I was drowning is a pool of confuddlement (is this a word?) and wanted to help me, relieve the pressure by asking the questions instead? Well, it worked! It actually put me as ease. “Uh-huh” yes it did!

This is Kat interviewing David at Shangri-la for her win in the promo of a music store in Manila last July 17, 2011. The man holding the camera didn’t know at first that the camera was on. So we just see backs of people, feet and floor. He was holding camera for the next interview. Later in the video you get glimpses of David. David talks about working with Stephen Kipner who wrote Touch My Hand, and learning about The Script, who Stephen was also working with at the time. David sings a few lines of The Script’s “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” at 3:56 and a little more at 6:28- 6:36 (after the interview is done)

Aww, a fan boy got to teach David to say “I love you” in Thai.
I recognized Bua, a huge Thai fan who bought a Super Vip ticket to David’s concert in Hanoi. She’s the 3rd from the left.
