David is the perfect example of why people want to have children.
They both are consistent to what I have seen in my experience as a pediatrician….wonderful children have wonderful and involved parents.
This is John’s story:
I attended the VIP reception and David gave a performance like none other. Never heard him sound better. ecurity was tight. People were kept very clear of David. David appeared to really want to get closer to his fans but security wouldn’t have it. At one point David yelled, “I am sorry but I am not allowed to stop and meet all of you….. I wish I could!” Since I am a rather forward type person in a respectful way I did manage to tell him that my pediatric patients all think he is the best. He blushed, shook my hand, and said that is so nice that I took the time to tell him that. Now here is the best part. After the event I walked a block away next door to the event and walked into the Hollywood Renaissance hotel to wait in the lobby for friends to go to dinner. As I am standing in the lobby I started to think that David should have stayed here because of the proximity of the event. As I finished thinking that, David comes from the elevator area with a bowl of ice cream in his hand with his dad behind him. So we sat down in the lobby while he ate ice cream and I proceeded to tel him what a great job he did and he appeared very appreciated again that I took the time to tell him that. I told him that if he had any medical needs while he was ever in Los Angeles to feel free to call me…..no charge!! I found a card in my pocket and handed in to David and he placed it in his pocket and again said thanks so much. This was all without a bit of security. I then proceeded to talk with Jeff Archuleta and congratulated him on the excellent job in raising David.
